Air Valve 03 Double Orifice Air Valve Type A
Double orifice air valve (Type A) for emptying and filling water networks, releasing both large and small air flows.
This double orifice air valve uses two separate orifices to handle both the large volumes of air encountered during pipeline filling and draining and the small volumes that accumulate under pressure during normal operation. Supplied with flanged ends to BS EN1092-2 and a face-to-face dimension to DIN2533-PN16, it suits DN50 to DN300 water and wastewater pipelines and is tested to BS EN 12266-1. The Type A configuration provides reliable air management to protect the network against air locking and vacuum collapse.
