Angle Type Globe Valve

An angle-pattern globe valve that turns flow through 90 degrees while throttling and regulating with a disc onto a seat.

Overview

The Angle Type Globe Valve combines flow regulation with a 90-degree change in piping direction, removing the need for a separate elbow fitting in throttling services. Fluid enters through the disc-and-seat assembly and exits at right angles, giving precise control of flow rate at the cost of a higher pressure drop than a gate valve. Bodies are supplied in WCB, A105N, LCC, LF2, stainless CF8M/316/316L and high-alloy grades such as Alloy 20 and Hastelloy C across Class 150 to 1500, with raised face, RTJ, threaded and socket weld connections. Designed to BS 1873 and API 623 and tested to API 598, the angle pattern suits regulating and sampling lines where space, drainage and reduced turbulence matter.
