Overview

The API 602 Socket Weld / FNPT Globe Valve is a small-bore forged steel valve built for instrument, sampling and auxiliary piping where accurate flow regulation is required in a robust package. The forged body and bolted bonnet resist the stresses of high-pressure service, while the disc-onto-seat design lets operators throttle flow precisely, accepting the higher pressure drop inherent to globe valves in exchange for fine control. Available in A105N, LF2, low-temperature LCB and chrome-moly F11/F22 as well as F304/F316 stainless, the valve covers Class 800 and higher ratings in sizes from 1/2 inch to 2 inch with socket weld or female NPT ends. Manufactured to API 602 and tested to API 598.
