API6D 90-Degree Horizontal Disc Check Valve 150LB

The API6D 90-Degree Horizontal Disc Check Valve 150LB is a non-return valve engineered to prevent reverse flow and protect pumps, compressors and downstream equipment from backflow and water hammer. Built with a carbon steel (wcb), with lcc, lcb, cf8m, 2205 and special grades available and a stainless steel disc with hardfaced (stellite) seating, per trim 5/8/12/16 options, the valve opens automatically under forward line pressure and closes under the weight of the closure member or spring assistance the instant flow reverses. Supplied with flanged raised face (asme class 150), with rtj available and rated to ANSI Class 150, it is designed and tested to recognised international standards for dependable, low-maintenance service across oil and gas, petrochemical, power and water applications.
