Overview

The Axial Flow Check Valve is a non-return valve engineered to prevent reverse flow and protect pumps, compressors and downstream equipment from backflow and water hammer. Built with a carbon steel (wcb), with lcc, lcb, cf8m, 2205 and special grades available and a spring-assisted axial (nozzle) disc in stainless steel with hardfaced seat, the valve opens automatically under forward line pressure and closes under the weight of the closure member or spring assistance the instant flow reverses. Supplied with flanged raised face, with rtj, butt-weld and wafer options available and rated to ANSI Class 150 to 1500, it is designed and tested to recognised international standards for dependable, low-maintenance service across oil and gas, petrochemical, power and water applications.
