Butterfly Type Check Valve

The Butterfly Type Check Valve is a non-return valve engineered to prevent reverse flow and protect pumps, compressors and downstream equipment from backflow and water hammer. Built with a cast carbon steel (wcb), with stainless and special grades available and a split butterfly (dual plate) discs with spring assistance, the valve opens automatically under forward line pressure and closes under the weight of the closure member or spring assistance the instant flow reverses. Supplied with wafer, with lug option available and rated to ANSI Class 150 to 300, it is designed and tested to recognised international standards for dependable, low-maintenance service across oil and gas, petrochemical, power and water applications.
