Cast Bronze Globe Valve

A cast bronze globe valve for water, steam and marine services where corrosion resistance and reliable throttling are needed.

Overview

The Cast Bronze Globe Valve is built for water, low-pressure steam, HVAC and marine systems where bronze's natural corrosion resistance gives long, dependable service. The disc closes onto a renewable seat to throttle and regulate flow, providing the fine control characteristic of globe valves while accepting their inherently higher pressure drop. The cast bronze or gunmetal body and bonnet resist dezincification and seawater attack, and the valve is supplied with threaded, solder or flanged ends in sizes from 1/2 inch to 4 inch. Tested to API 598 standards, it is a practical regulating valve for potable water, heating circuits and shipboard piping.
