Cast Iron Globe Valve
A flanged cast iron globe valve for economical throttling of water, steam and air in low-pressure utility systems.

The Cast Iron Globe Valve provides an economical means of regulating water, steam, oil and air in building services, irrigation and general low-pressure utility piping. Flow passes through the disc-and-seat throttling element, giving operators the controllability that globe valves are known for while accepting a higher pressure drop than a gate valve. The cast iron or ductile iron body with bolted bonnet carries Class 125/150 ratings, with flanged raised-face ends in sizes from 2 inch to 24 inch. Larger valves are gear operated for ease of use. Tested to API 598, it is a cost-effective choice where service pressures and temperatures are moderate.
