Cast Steel Pressure Seal Bonnet Globe Valve
A pressure-seal bonnet cast steel globe valve for high-pressure, high-temperature throttling in power and steam service.
The Cast Steel Pressure Seal Bonnet Globe Valve is engineered for high-pressure, high-temperature duties such as boiler feed, main steam and power-plant piping where bolted bonnets become impractical. As internal pressure rises, the pressure-seal bonnet design tightens its own gasket, giving a more reliable seal at the upper pressure classes. The disc-and-seat element throttles and regulates flow with the precision expected of globe valves while accepting their higher pressure drop. Bodies are supplied in WCB and chrome-moly A217 WC6/WC9/C5/C12A for elevated-temperature strength, with butt weld and RTJ ends in sizes from 2 inch to 24 inch. Designed to BS 1873 / API 623 / ASME B16.34 and tested to API 598.
