Cryogenic Globe Valve
A cryogenic globe valve with extended bonnet for throttling LNG, liquid oxygen, nitrogen and other low-temperature media.

The Cryogenic Globe Valve is purpose-built for LNG, liquid oxygen, nitrogen, argon and other low-temperature fluids that demand both tight control and reliable performance at extreme cold. An extended bonnet keeps the gland packing clear of the cryogenic zone, protecting the stem seal and preventing icing, while the disc-onto-seat element throttles and regulates flow with the fine control globe valves provide, accepting a higher pressure drop in return. Bodies are produced in austenitic stainless CF8M/316/316L and low-temperature carbon steels LCB/LF2 across Class 150 to 1500 with flanged and butt weld ends in sizes from 1/2 inch to 24 inch. Tested to API 598, each valve can be cryogenically validated for service down to -196 degrees Celsius.
