This 45-degree flapper check valve uses an inclined seat to shorten the disc travel, reducing slam and water hammer when flow reverses. The disc lifts on forward flow once upstream pressure exceeds downstream, then seats positively to prevent backflow. With a ductile iron body and bonnet, EPDM-faced flapper and FBE coating, it is a robust non-return solution for clear water, sewage and air service across a wide DN50 to DN700 range.
