The CV04 swing check valve conforms to BS5153 face-to-face dimensions and uses a hinged disc to automatically prevent reverse flow through the pipeline. The external lever and counterweight assist disc closure and help reduce slamming on flow reversal, protecting pumps and downstream equipment from water hammer. Built with a ductile iron body and available with either rubber or metal seating, the valve is FBE-coated for durability in water and wastewater service.
