This DIN-standard gate valve uses an outside screw and yoke (OS&Y) rising stem, so the position of the stem gives a clear visual indication of whether the valve is open or closed. Linear motion of the stem raises and lowers the metal-seated wedge to give tight, full-bore isolation with minimal pressure drop when fully open. Cast in a range of carbon, stainless and alloy steels and rated to PN25, the valve is suited to higher-pressure water, steam and process service.
