This dual-plate check valve carries a lug body that bolts directly between pipe flanges and houses two spring-loaded half-discs hinged on a central pin. The plates open together under forward flow and snap shut on a torsion spring the instant flow reverses, cutting off backflow before slamming can occur. Its compact wafer profile saves weight and space, while the lugged body allows end-of-line and dead-end isolation, making it a practical non-return solution for pump and compressor systems.
