Overview

The Flanged End Globe Valve is a forged steel regulating valve that combines the strength of a forged body with the convenience of flanged connections for easy installation and removal. The disc seats onto the seat ring to throttle and regulate flow with the control authority globe valves are prized for, accepting the higher pressure drop that comes with their geometry. Forged A105N, low-temperature LF2, chrome-moly F11/F22 and F304/F316 stainless bodies cover Class 150 to 1500 with flanged raised-face and RTJ ends in sizes from 1/2 inch to 4 inch. Designed to BS 1873 / API 623 and tested to API 598, it suits throttling, bypass and regulating duties on hydrocarbon, steam and process lines.
