The Forged Bronze Gate Valve is built from corrosion-resistant bronze alloy for reliable isolation of water, seawater, air and other non-aggressive utility media. Operating strictly as an on/off device, it uses a rising stem and solid or flexible wedge to seal a full-bore passage with minimal pressure loss, and is not intended for throttling. The naturally corrosion-tolerant bronze body and trim suit marine, HVAC and general plumbing systems where longevity in wet environments is required.
