Overview

The Forged Cryogenic Gate Valve is purpose-built for liquefied-gas service, featuring an extended bonnet that keeps the stem packing clear of the cold zone and prevents ice formation around the gland. Constructed from low-temperature austenitic materials and tested to cryogenic standards, it provides dependable on/off isolation of LNG, liquid nitrogen, oxygen and similar media down to deep sub-zero temperatures. As a gate valve it is intended only for fully-open or fully-closed operation, sealing a full-bore path with a flexible wedge and rising stem.
