Forged Steel Cryogenic Globe Valve
A forged steel cryogenic globe valve with an extended bonnet for throttling and isolation of liquefied gases at very low temperatures.

The forged steel cryogenic globe valve is engineered for precise throttling and tight isolation of liquefied gases such as LNG, oxygen, nitrogen and argon. A disc seating onto a horizontal seat gives the fine flow control characteristic of globe valves, while an extended gas-column bonnet keeps the gland packing clear of the cryogenic medium and prevents ice formation around the stem seal. Low-temperature forged steel and austenitic stainless trim retain toughness down to deep cryogenic temperatures. The valve trades a higher pressure drop than a gate valve for the superior regulation and bubble-tight shut-off that cold service demands.
