Overview

The Forged Steel Flanged and BW Gate Valve provides a choice of raised-face flanged or butt-weld end connections to suit either bolted or welded piping systems. Forged from carbon, low-temperature or stainless steel, it delivers strong, leak-tight on/off isolation through a full-bore opening using a flexible wedge and OS&Y rising stem. Like every gate valve it is designed for fully-open or fully-closed duty rather than throttling, and the butt-weld option is favoured for high-integrity, fugitive-emission-controlled lines.
