A forged-steel gate valve providing strong, leak-tight on/off isolation for general high-pressure oil, gas and process service.
The Forged Steel Gate Valve is the workhorse isolation valve of the forged range, machined from carbon, low-temperature or stainless forgings for high strength and tight grain structure. It is designed solely for on/off duty, sealing a full-bore opening with a flexible wedge and OS&Y rising stem to give drop-tight bidirectional shut-off with minimal pressure drop. Forged construction makes it well suited to the elevated pressures and temperatures of oil, gas, refining and power applications, and it should never be used to throttle flow.
