Forged Steel Globe Valve

The forged steel globe valve provides accurate throttling and tight isolation across a broad pressure range. Its disc closes onto a horizontal seat, giving the fine flow control characteristic of globe valves together with dependable shut-off. Forged construction yields a dense, void-free body that withstands high pressure and repeated thermal cycling better than castings, making the valve well suited to demanding refinery and petrochemical duties. The straight-through globe pattern accepts a higher pressure drop than a gate valve in return for superior regulation.
