A compact forged-steel gate valve with threaded or socket-weld ends for on/off isolation of small-bore high-pressure lines.
The Forged Steel Threaded and Socket Welded Gate Valve is a compact, small-bore isolation valve offered with NPT threaded or socket-weld ends to match instrument, drain, vent and auxiliary piping. Forged for high pressure integrity, it provides positive on/off shut-off through a full-bore opening using a flexible or solid wedge and OS&Y rising stem, and is not intended for flow control. The threaded and socket-weld connections make it a natural fit for the high-pressure, small-diameter lines common to refineries and power plants.
