The Purple Valves hex head plug is a forged steel fitting manufactured to ASME B16.11 for closing off threaded outlets and pipe ends. Forged from A105 carbon steel and available in Class 2000, 3000 and 6000 LB ratings, it provides a reliable pressure-tight seal in oilfield, industrial and process pipework. The hexagonal head allows positive wrench engagement for installation and removal.
