An investment-cast globe valve with smooth flow passages for precise throttling and reliable shut-off.
The investment casting globe valve is produced by the lost-wax process, giving close dimensional tolerances and smooth internal flow passages that reduce turbulence and erosion. The disc seats onto a horizontal seat to deliver the precise throttling and dependable shut-off that define globe valves. Investment casting allows complex body shapes and a fine surface finish in stainless and alloy grades, making the valve a clean, corrosion-resistant choice for chemical, food and instrument service. As with all globe valves it accepts a higher pressure drop than a gate valve in exchange for excellent flow regulation.
