This API 6A plate gate valve uses a slab gate to provide full-bore, bubble-tight isolation in the high-pressure environment of wellhead and Christmas-tree assemblies. The flat sealing plate rides between hardfaced seats to deliver reliable shut-off even in abrasive, solids-laden service, while the unobstructed bore minimises pressure drop and wear. Manufactured to API Spec 6A, it offers durable, dependable performance for oil and gas drilling and production isolation duty.
