Pressure Seal Forged Steel Globe Valve

The pressure seal forged steel globe valve uses a self-energising pressure-seal bonnet that tightens as line pressure rises, making it ideal for high-pressure, high-temperature steam and hydrocarbon service. The disc seats onto a horizontal seat to provide precise throttling and tight shut-off, while forged construction gives a dense body able to withstand severe pressure and thermal cycling. Stellite-faced trim resists erosion in demanding steam duties. As a globe valve it offers superior flow regulation at the expense of a higher pressure drop than a gate valve.
