This pressure seal socket-weld and threaded globe valve is rated Class 900 through 2500 for small-bore, high-pressure piping. The disc seats onto a horizontal seat to deliver the precise throttling and tight shut-off expected of a globe valve, while the self-energising pressure-seal bonnet keeps the joint leak-tight as pressure rises. Socket-weld and threaded ends suit instrument, drain and bypass lines where compact, high-integrity connections are required. As with all globe valves it trades a higher pressure drop than a gate valve for superior flow regulation.
