Stainless Steel Globe Valve (Forged)

A forged stainless steel globe valve for corrosion-resistant throttling and isolation in chemical and clean service.

Size1/2" to 24"PressureANSI Class 150 to 1500BodyGlobe (straight pattern)
Overview

The forged stainless steel globe valve is built for corrosion-resistant throttling and tight isolation in chemical, pharmaceutical and clean process lines. A stainless disc seats onto a stainless horizontal seat to provide the precise flow control characteristic of globe valves, while austenitic stainless construction resists a wide range of acids, alkalis and oxidising media. Forging gives a dense, defect-free body suited to higher pressures than equivalent cast valves. The globe pattern accepts a higher pressure drop than a gate valve in return for excellent regulation and reliable shut-off.
