T Strainer

A t strainer offering an inline T-pattern configuration that captures particulates while keeping pressure drop low across the strainer.

Overview

The T Strainer uses a T-pattern body to filter debris and particulates from a pipeline while maintaining a compact, inline footprint. Media flows through a cylindrical mesh screen housed within the T-body, where suspended solids are retained and clean fluid continues downstream to protect pumps, valves, meters and other equipment. The straight-through geometry of the T configuration keeps turbulence and pressure loss to a minimum, making it well suited to systems where flow efficiency matters. The screen is accessed through a bolted cap for periodic cleaning and reinstatement. Bodies are offered in A351 CF8M stainless steel or A216 WCB carbon steel.
