Thread Flange
A threaded flange with an internal tapered thread that screws onto the pipe, allowing a bolted connection without any welding.

The threaded flange carries an internal tapered thread, typically to ASME B1.20.1 NPT, so it can be screwed directly onto matching male pipe to create a bolted flange joint without welding. Built to ASME B16.5 dimensions, it suits situations where welding is impractical or prohibited, such as some utility, low-pressure and hazardous-area lines, and it allows the flange to be removed for maintenance. The machined raised or flat face takes a standard gasket, providing a serviceable connection on small to moderate diameter piping.
