Welded Reducer

Butt-weld concentric or eccentric reducer for joining pipes of different diameters with a smooth welded transition.

Overview

The ZQV Welded Reducer connects two pipes of differing diameters, providing a gradual, low-turbulence transition in line size. Concentric reducers keep a common centreline for vertical runs, while eccentric reducers share a flat side to maintain a level top or bottom and prevent air or liquid pockets in horizontal lines. Forged or formed from steel and bevelled for butt welding, it creates a permanent, full-strength joint with a smooth internal profile, and is used throughout process, oil and gas, power and water piping wherever line size changes are required.
